"My Girl" Hand Painted and Embellished Nike AF1 '07

Neha Assar has literally given Nike AF1 sneakers a South Asian bridal makeover! These one-of-a-kind sneakers are hand painted teal, pink and mauve tones with matte white mehndi inspired art. The patterns have tiny gold embellishments that sparkle when the light hits just right. 

The pattern play on these sneakers is what gives them personality. Moghul motifs and articulate gemotry are placed adjacently with intricate mehndi patterns all over. The patterns should not be mistaken for being stenciled as each motif/line/curve/dot is done by hand. 

The shoes are hand embellished with carefully curated sequins. The Nike Swoosh on one side is adorned with holographic sequins in order to compliment the color scheme of the shoes. The swoosh on the other side is gilded with gold that will make ones heart sing when it sparkles! 

Wear these sneakers with your favorite body con dress, some slouchy sweats or under your reception lengha so you can slay your bridal look hard, but party even harder. How will you style these?
